Easy to pick up and play, Amplitude is a must-have for gamers who love rhythm/music games. Local multiplayer and various difficulty settings make Amplitude excellent value for money, though a lack of online multiplayer or additional DLC hurts long-term longevity.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is a solid, fun JRPG experience with a strong anime flavor and many hours worth of content. If you're a fan of turn-based RPGs and pulling off stylish, over-the-top moves with finesse, this is a great game to look into.

Fans of the franchise will love rediscovering Firetop Mountain in this adaptation, bringing the world to life in a gorgeous and interesting new way. Players unfamiliar with the gamebooks will still likely enjoy the game in its own right, though retracing steps and repetition can be a little problematic.

Once past the inital hurdle of learning the game and its myriad intricacies, The Escapists 2 offers a solid prison break vibe that lets you explore and try out multiple grand (or subtle!) escape plans in a solid variety of prisons. The addition of a fun multiplayer experience, much requested by fans of the original, is icing on the cake.

A fun RTS that doesn't take itself too seriously. Punishing campaign difficulty and online multiplayer modes help build a long lifespan for our barbarian friends. While it won't replace your Starcraft or Total War, it'll complement them nicely when you want a more lighthearted change of pace.

Tyranny is an excellent first step into RPGs, with an enticing storyline that manages to continually surprise and excite. While hardcore RPG fans may dislike the simplified combat and shorter core game length, these factors help the storyline shine and keep it accessible for more people. Definitely worth a look, especially for Pillars of Eternity fans.
