A healthy and fun experience that steps outside of the realm of indie and AAA titles. Barring a few foibles and crashes, a genuinely good experience, once you see it as an RPG first and a Bloodborne analogue second.

Moonlighter is a game worth checking out. I loved that this game has a risk-reward to its rougelike system. It makes for an interesting combo that I feel worked in the player’s flavor.

Sleep Tight captures the essence of being a kid. With its whimsical charm, its tone is the best thing it has to offer. It is a shame that there is just not enough content for the player to be engaged after a few plays.

Mages of Mystralia is a charming game that tells a simple tale. Despite the length of the tale being somewhat short, the adventure in this beautiful world is well made with a nice art direction and a beautiful score that will carry you through a very pleasurable experience. While the game looks very pretty, Banner of the Maid, unfortunately, feels pretty generic. Unlike other games in this genre, the grinding isn't as fun as it should be considering its interesting gameplay mechanics.
