This game has it all. If you are any type of fan of the interactive genre then this game is definitely for you. Not sure this game will sway newcomers to the genre but will definitely grab anyone that is remotely interested in it. Another must-have title in a long line of must have titles PlayStation has delivered this gen.

9.4 / 10.0 - Horizon Chase Turbo
Jun 9, 2018

The game reminded me immediately of old arcade racers Pole Position and Out Run. The turns and the feel of the car nail the almost recreation of that special gameplay back in the 16 bit era. With what feels like unlimited high-speed action through consistent upgrades to the fast paced passing and wrecks you will encounter while racing your way to be number 1. The mechanics for each of the cars feels like they were meticulously crafted as each handles almost perfectly. You will be second guessing yourself after each upgrade, wondering if you picked the right one to make your next few races as easy as possible.

8.3 / 10.0 - Perils of Baking
Jun 11, 2018

I really enjoyed my time with this game. I found the levels to be enjoyable and the challenges, when presented, to be overall well done. I would have liked to see more level design and uniqueness in each of the 40 levels but nonetheless it was a fun and enjoyable time. I also am taking in to consideration the pricing for the game when I play and review this. Though there are some things I'd like to see different, for the cost of the game I really cannot complain with what is available. Also for any trophy hunter out there, this is a quick platinum you can pick up for a cheap price.

Even if you aren’t a fan of the pinball genre, you will want to give this a try. It’s action gameplay, open world exploration, and platforming sections brought together in a wonderful and fun package. This is a game you can sit back and relax while enjoying the melodic music playing. You won’t find yourself so frustrated that you are raging and you won’t find that you have a game that will be completed in an hour. It truly is the best combination of mechanics and the best way to get those wary of the pinball mechanics to ease up and open their minds. This game is definitely a must have on your list of games.

9.5 / 10.0 - Awkward
Jun 15, 2018

If you are looking for a party game that will test friendships and show your ability to face tough decisions then this is the game for you. This game will ask you questions you never thought possible and some you wish that were never possible. It would be a great game to have at a family gathering or inviting your friends over to put them to the test. Definitely recommend this title for anyone out there looking for a fun and hilarious time with your friends or family.

5.4 / 10.0 - VROOM KABOOM
Aug 13, 2018

Players looking for a unique strategy game might find some fun here. Certain audiences might even be drawn in by the destructive factor. For VR users, it's a severely limited, but interesting experience. For non-VR players though, aside from tower rush fans, or those looking for some sort of strategy game, Vroom Kaboom is better left forgotten.

9 / 10.0 - Tetra's Escape
Aug 13, 2018

This game is highly recommended for anyone that would like a break from the overblown budget, crappy story, mediocre gameplay that AAA seems to have been giving you. This game is not only very cheap but it's also cross buy with the PlayStation Vita and with separate trophy lists. This means with only a small purchase price you will get two copies of the game. One to play while you are at home wanting to unwind and one to take with you on the go to fill that monotonous ride to work, school or that dreaded shopping trip with the Misses.

Aces of the Luftwaffe – Squadron is packed with replay value for the price tag. The progression and level of customization is nice to see combined with the shoot ’em up genre. Though the voice acting leaves something to be desired, it’s enough to help push the story, which is interesting and well handled. Though it’s difficulty may seem frustrating to some, fans of bullet hell games will feel right at home.

Overall this game is wonderful. It screams play me and don't quit till it's over. I couldn't stop playing even after I beat the game. I must have completed this game over 12 times in row the first night I played it and even played some more the next day. I finally did complete the final trophy needed for the platinum but this game wasn't deleted off my PS4 afterwards because of just how much wholesome fun it is.

9.8 / 10.0 - Narcosis
Aug 27, 2018

Narcosis represents the best of what horror games should strive to be. It's immersive, in nearly every possible way. With an interesting and well presented narrative, you'll find yourself not wanting to stop, as you turn every corner with a sense of dread as to what lies ahead. While the play time is somewhat short, and the absence of support for PlayStation VR is a drawback, there is more than enough in the package to appease true fans of the horror genre. With it's unique setting and atmosphere, Narcosis is a true dive into fear itself.

8.6 / 10.0 - Blind
Sep 18, 2018

Blind touches on an interesting concept, not often explored in gaming. While there are other examples, I feel this game sets itself apart from the rest with it’s near-perfect utilization of sound, puzzle mechanics, and storytelling, which create an immersive, enthralling experience. Blind simultaneously draws you in with an intense narrative, and sends a chill down your spine with ambience.

9 / 10.0 - FullBlast
Sep 25, 2018

FullBlast is a vertical scrolling shooter that will be sure to hit you in the nostalgia feels as you play through its 12 levels of single or coop action. The game is reminiscent to the arcade shooters of the 80's and 90's. The game supports a heavy metal soundtrack that will keep you pumped up as you shmup your way through multiple levels with 4 mini bosses and 3 mega bosses.

9.1 / 10.0 - Jack n' Jill DX
Sep 26, 2018

Overall, this game is to me a treasure to play and own. I would suggest to any of my friends or people reading this to go out and purchase this game. Definitely some fun to be had. If you are a trophy hunter this game is a no brainer for you, it boasts 6 unique trophy lists spanning across 3 regions and 2 platforms. You will have separate lists for PS4 and PSV along with separate lists for NA, EU and Asia. However, even if trophies isn’t your thing, this game sure will be. I can’t speak enough how much these developers do with sometimes what seems a minimalist style of game. It’s honestly astonishing to see how much fun you can have with a title such as this.

8.8 / 10.0 - One Eyed Kutkh
Oct 25, 2018

The game is relatively a shorter game and for the money it costs in comparison to others in the same price range might not seem worth it. I would recommend waiting on a sale for this title in either the NA or EU PlayStation stores. I’m sure this is a game that will frequent the sale pages for a while. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad game by any means at all. It is exactly what the developer says it is and it does a good job at being inviting to players of all ages. However, with the very short length of the game the pricing just seems too high for it.

9.4 / 10.0 - Alteric
Oct 25, 2018

I definitely want to say this is a game to pick up for anyone looking for a challenge. You won’t be disappointed in that aspect at all. Something I always take in to consideration with most of these types of games is the pricing. The price is perfect for the title and you will definitely get your money’s worth. For any of the trophy hunters looking for another platinum to go after, this is your game.

9.4 / 10.0 - Spiral Splatter
Oct 25, 2018

This game is definitely one for the puzzle lovers. It’s really hard to find puzzle games where the developer for whatever reason didn’t get lazy and just reuse existing puzzles and just add more difficulty to them. What surprised me most about this title and that each level being unique and having a natural difficulty is that is was all created by a one man team. That is mind-blowing to me that this one man was able to take the time willingly to come up with not 25, not 75 but 100 unique levels and found a way to make the difficulty progression feel natural.

7.6 / 10.0 - NORTH
Oct 25, 2018

While the game set out to invoke some sort of feelings in people regarding refugees and their plight. I feel that it failed on that message and really was just an unintelligible mess. It just became a walking simulator where weird shit happens unexplained. It seems that their intended message just didn't translate over in to gaming as well as they might have thought it did.

7.5 / 10.0 - Operation Warcade
Oct 27, 2018

Operation Warcade is a great game for someone just starting off in VR. It’s a fun package with enough replay value to justify the price tag. The game has its minor issues, but they don’t detract from the fun factor or playability. All in all, it’s just an easy game to hop into and play for an hour or so and work on some challenges, or just to kill some time for a few minutes. It’s an interesting presentation, and a nostalgic experience for the older generation.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this game for any Sudoku player out there that has a PS4 or iPad/iPhone as you won’t be disappointed in the least bit and it’s a great way to pass the time or take a break from the bigger AAA games you have been playing.

8.4 / 10.0 - Call of Cthulhu
Nov 6, 2018

Call Of Cthulhu: The Official Game isn’t a horror masterpiece, but it is an experience worth having. Mostly following the trope of other games, it does nothing to differentiate itself from other investigative horror titles, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. All of the aspects combined form a game that is faithful to both Chaosium’s table-top classic, and the Lovecraft universe in general. Fans of one or both have a real treat on their hands with this one. With a well written narrative, interesting gameplay, great use of RPG mechanics, tense horror, and multiple possible outcomes, Cyanide Studio have given us a horror game that justifies the price tag.
