2 / 10.0 - The Quiet Man
Nov 17, 2018

For sure, designing The Quite Man, Square Enix focused on innovation, but looking at the result, we can say the software house failed. More than all the problems we already discussed in the review, there are several bugs, system crashes, really long loadings, and a boring gameplay. The concept behind is really good, but the final product is not acceptable. This is one of the games that you can really leave behind in this 2018, that gave us a lot of masterpieces. Probably The Quite Man is one of the worst game of the year

3 / 10.0 - Atlas Fallen
Sep 5, 2023

Atlas Fallen is a title that copies mechanics and ideas from other titles but does not shine in anything. The gameplay is particularly dull and unsatisfying, the plot uninvolving and lacking in basic mechanics for a 2023 title. Had it come out in 2010 as the developers' debut title it would have been nice as a cheap alternative to darksiders 1 (a title from which Atlas Fallen seems to borrow a lot) but in 2023 from developers who have good experience in this area anyway we expected significantly more.

5 / 10.0 - Ravenlok
May 26, 2023

In short Ravenlok could have been an interesting product thanks to its graphical style, it completely patches however in some too important details for an action game such as combat, difficulty and duration. Therefore, we do not recommend buying the title at full price, however, it may be interesting to try it out thanks to Xbox Game Pass or buy it with some steep discounts

5 / 10.0 - Battlefield 2042
Feb 2, 2022

The bugs and imperfections are too much incident on the gameplay. The spectacular graphics and interactive maps fail to balance the shortcomings.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain offers a lot from a narrative point of view and little from a playful one. Chris Darril's video game features many ideas that are good but don't work on balance. The little playful offer, the low longevity and the price at which it is sold make it difficult to appreciate. Probably without the troubled development the game has undergone, this would be a no doubt positive review.

5 / 10.0 - Maneater
Jul 7, 2020

Maneater does not meet the expectations mounted during the PC Gaming Show 2019. The developers fail to give a rolistic cut to an arcade product, missing the appointment with the qualities of both genres. Interesting for the niche audience passionate about B-Movie.

Fall Guys fails in every way as a video game, but its enormous ability to interconnect people makes it an epochal product. The months and years will tell us whether Devolver Digital's game is a flash in the pan or a phenomenon, but for the moment it has cheered the summer of millions of people.

5.5 / 10.0 - Fort Triumph
May 30, 2020

Fort Triumph is a game from which I expected a lot, too much. A game that has enormous potential that is very little exploited. Too bad because with a few more precautions it could really have been a milestone of this kind.

5.6 / 10.0 - Vane
Jan 23, 2019

Vane lasts 4 hours, and if we have to compare all the elements we defined till now in the review, sadly, we can’t promote this game. The whole product is chaotic, cause of bugs, a questionable gameplay, and a bad camera management…It’s not easy to be satisfied just by a pleasant graphic design and a great soundtrack.

5.7 / 10.0 - Atomicrops
Sep 14, 2020

Atomicrops is certainly a nice and original product but that will not remain in the annals of indie video games. In an extremely competitive industry like this, the Bird Bath creature will probably be forgotten in the backlog of average gamers.

6 / 10.0 - Clunky Hero
Feb 7, 2023

Clunky Hero is a MetroidVania title that manages to agree with everyone about its mediocrity. It is not a video game that stands out in a positive sense, but neither does it stand out in a negative sense. It is an enjoyable title that probably would have shined a little brighter with more thoughtful dialogue and a more simplified gameplay system regarding exploration.

6 / 10.0 - ELEX II
Mar 5, 2022

Elex 2 looks exactly like the first, with a campaign almost identical to its predecessor, with very few innovations introduced, but still presenting some improvements in the graphic, technical and stylistic side. It is certainly a game suitable for an audience accustomed to open world with sci-fantasy settings, but which, like its predecessor, will probably not be able to reach a large portion of the public.

Crysis Remastered enhances the appearance of a prodigy that in 2007 deterred millions of players around the world with its greed for performance. Those who saw their dreams shattered at the time can now easily run this re-proposal on their computer, which struggles to innovate, leaving ample room for the qualities, but above all the limits, of the original work.

6.2 / 10.0 - Daymare: 1998
May 10, 2020

Daymare 1998 was a good game overall, with suggestive locations and excellent background ideas, which however tend to fail due to a not very satisfying and quite cumbersome combat system, especially as regards the management of inventory and ammunition. Furthermore, despite the fact that Invader Studios' declaration of love for the horror films of the 1990s turns out to be more than appreciable, the three-year delay in console porting shows several graphic deficits, especially after the recent remakes of RE 2 and RE 3.

6.2 / 10.0 - Crucible
May 24, 2020

The intent of Crucible is very noble, but the result is a job that can hardly have its say in the shooter market. The promised originality consists in a smoothie of ideas taken from games already on the market; the final flavor is as immature as it is anonymous: postponed to September.

6.3 / 10.0 - Mosaic
Feb 16, 2020

In short, finding the light in an apparently insignificant reality seems to be the pivot on which the whole experience revolves. The initial disorientation will gradually leave room for surprise, marveling at small everyday things which, although always present, are often clouded by a routine in which control and rules apply.

Wo Long: Fallen Dinasty is a title that with completely convinces. A wasted opportunity, despite the setting and the very inspired boss fights. Perhaps with proper improvement patches, and especially by fixing the framerate issue (which plagues, albeit less consistently, the big sister versions as well) the title could have a wide margin for improvement. And we, all things considered, really hope so.

An interesting concept constrained by an unbreakable release date. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was not a ready-to-launch game.

You don't need many hours to complete this title, which is ideal to play on a handheld console like Nintendo Switch under the covers, yet the title is free on Game Pass. Are you ready to return to Seattle and hear the stories of the strange customers of our Coffee Shop?

7 / 10.0 - Sonic Frontiers
Dec 23, 2022

SEGA has decided to give the series a bold swerve, veering toward today's top genres, but without betraying the spirit that has distinguished it since its early days. Although with a very problematic technical compartment, the title manages to entertain and engage, thanks to the freedom granted and the spectacular staging in the most concussive sections. Hopefully, this path taken by the Japanese software house will allow the blue hedgehog to hurtle toward a bright future. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
