The gameplay of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is well-varied, exciting, and certainly full of horror. It is a fantastic addition to the asymmetrical horror genre and allows for a very fun experience. The only worry when it comes to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is the longevity of the live service experience. Unlike DbD, a very similar game, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is locked within one IP, potentially meaning there isn’t a great deal of room for expansion. Despite this, the game has a lot of entertainment value and is well worth playing for some very tense online gaming.

Savant – Ascent REMIX really is a game worth playing with killer music, awesome vibes, and challenges to keep you busy for hours. Savant – Ascent REMIX really is a nostalgic game that’ll remind people of old arcade games, and the retro designs just add another layer on top. With some really good music and a lot to destroy, this could be your next favorite too.

4.7 / 5.0 - Pizza Possum
Oct 12, 2023

Easy to pick up, impossible to put down is the best way to describe Pizza Possum. Every element feels designed to keep you playing. The soundtrack is fun, and the excitement drawn for it keeps the player engaged as they try to beat their own score. If you are after a new classic feeling arcade game, then the simple controls with the fun power-ups and exciting chases are definitely the way to go. On top of all of this, the co-op is fantastic, adding hilarity at every corner. And never forget, screaming and giggling as a crazed possum is always a fun way to enjoy a game.

4.7 / 5.0 - Jusant
Nov 1, 2023

Jusant may be short, but it is truly unforgettable. It is definitely one of those games that will stay with you for years to come. The game truly shows how far DON’T NOD has come in terms of being a developer, and only time will tell what their next masterpiece will be. Jusant may be short, but it is well worth your time and is an absolute must-play.

My Time At Sandrock is a phenomenal Life Sim, but more importantly, it has shown how much Pathea has improved as a developer. They took all the criticisms that were given to My Time At Portia to heart and gave us a game that built on what its predecessor had established while going above and beyond. That’s not to say the game is perfect; crafting especially can get overwhelming at times, but as long as you’re patient and give yourself enough time to get used to all the different machines and how they work, they end up becoming a part of your daily routine. My Time At Sandrock is definitely a game we would recommend you give a try if you want more than just cozy living.

4.7 / 5.0 - For the King 2
Nov 9, 2023

For The King II is a fun role-playing, strategy, turn-based adventure game with tons to do, from an epic main story to random dungeons and some side quests. The game is definitely worth giving a shot, although if you have not played the first game, it’s not a train smash as there is a detailed recap, but it is recommended to play the first game.

Endless Dungeon is packed with a ton of things that just make the game an absolute joy to play. The game has snappy and responsive combat, fun and varied gameplay that never feels grindy or repetitive, and just a great cast of characters. Though the single-player experience isn’t the game at its peak, it is definitely worth your time, and you won’t regret it.

4.7 / 5.0 - Dungeons 4
Nov 12, 2023

Dungeons 4 is probably the best entry in the Dungeons series. The game isn’t for everyone, but it is phenomenal, with outstanding voice-acting and story to gameplay that is both satisfying and challenging. Dungeons 4 is a must-play for fans of the genre or for players who want to live out their evil overlord power fantasy.

4.7 / 5.0 - American Arcadia
Nov 17, 2023

American Arcadia is a fantastically story-rich puzzle game that will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you want to play it again, even after finishing it. The art style, character design, mechanics, and plot of the story come together to create something incredibly unique that most puzzle game players will enjoy, even with some of the puzzles being a little unforgiving.

4.7 / 5.0 - The Iron Oath
Dec 18, 2023

The Iron Oath is a good game and a great entry into the turn-based strategy genre. Despite the need to manage resources such as mercenaries and funds, the game never becomes too overwhelming, even with more intense difficulties. Though admittedly, it still suffers from some of the faults of its inspirations, it still builds upon the mechanics. The game is easy to get into and hard to put down, and while it’s no Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s certainly worth your time.

The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales is a refreshing combination of different genres and viewpoints with an epic story to drive everything forward. Everything from the strange but rich narrative to the characters comes together to give us something close to a masterpiece. The only downside is the minor issue that appears when trying to interact with certain objects. However, even with that tiny flaw, The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales is a must-play because of its unique take on the genres it embodies.

Asterix & Obelix Slap Them All! 2, like the game before, is just a massive love letter to the series. The game is packed full of meta-humor and references and stays loyal to the franchise the game is about. The gameplay is incredibly solid and fun, and the game never overstays its welcome. Despite all this, the game is not for everyone.

Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is a fantastic sequel to the first game and a great rougelite with short gameplay that both new players to the genre and veterans would enjoy. The gameplay is polished, and the controls are easy to learn, allowing players to get into the rhythm of shaking down other veggies for their hard-earned cash as Turnip Boy easily.

4.7 / 5.0 - Enshrouded
Jan 30, 2024

Despite Enshrouded being an Early Access title, it shows incredible promise; while it would be easy to write the game off as a Valheim clone, it is so much more than that. The game has a notable difficulty spike, but this goes away once someone joins you. The world of Embervale is simply breathtaking and perfectly mixes hyper-realism with the whimsical fantasy. Even some of the game’s most dangerous parts are just a joy to watch, and the game is just incredible.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect is a marvelous showcase of some of the best aspects of the Roguelike generation. It takes the core features and majorly expands on them by giving players a tenfold delivery of an addictive combat action experience, and even though the game is far from the normal BlazBlue experience, the new entry still pays respects to the cast of the BlazBlue franchise by retaining what makes them all so unique and beloved by BlazBlue fans.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden has one of the best-written, captivating, immersive, and dramatic stories in a video game I’ve ever played, followed by incredible combat mechanics, abilities, weapons, and animations. Albeit, it needs a little more polishing to get a more playable fighting experience. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a game that’ll grab and maintain your interest, and I would recommend yet another fine project from Focus Entertainment to anyone. Yes, including God of War fans.

Outcast – A New Beginning came as a surprise as one of the releases for 2024. Although Appeal hinted at the sequel at certain points, it never caught my attention until now, of course. The graphics, lore, and story are pretty much settled in the Adelpha universe, and fluent gameplay pushes you to learn more about the story of natives and Cutter himself.

4.7 / 5.0 - Oblivion Override
Jan 26, 2024

Oblivion Override, despite still being an early access title, is one phenomenal game. The game provides you with enough difficulty to be somewhat easy in the beginning but also gives you enough of a challenge to keep you hooked. The game gives you a wide variety of options in terms of playstyles and lets you adjust everything to your liking.
