Okami is beautiful to witness and plays like a true classic.
I totally understand the creators wanting to ride the success of the hype they got on social media, I mean, how often does that happen? But really this feels like a waste of time, let alone money.
The interfaces and NPCs have this amazing ability to curdle every sense in your body, and at the end of it, you just wish you never attempted any of it in the first place.

Godzilla is an emaciated experience, with a dangerously ambitious price tag that smacks of men in suits preying on fans hoping for the best. Once again, this oversized, irradiated monster has been let down by video games.
Daylight's claim to fame is its reported replay value; that no scare will ever be the same twice. While it is technically true that the level geometry does change from playthrough-to-playthrough, the scares certainly see some overlap, and the writing isn't worth a return visit. There are no nascent ideas in Daylight – just the desperate, flailing attempts to throw every horror cliché at the wall.
Zombie Army Trilogy feels exactly like what you think it is – a collection of DLC packages. With a bare-bones frame propping it up, the game is an emaciated experience with an overly ambitious price tag attempting to tie it all together.
Bladestorm: Nightmare is a game that suffers from its fundamentals. The act of moving your troops around the battlefield, and engaging in combat, is too far removed from the player's input – leading to frustration rather than gratification. Adding dragons to the mix doesn't shake up the formula, and highlights that not all games can act as frameworks for other concepts.

The game is an anachronism, proving that transposing ideas from the past (without thinking critically about how they should be represented in the present) doesn't always work.
Deadfall Adventures does little to right this wrong. Its gameplay is tedious and lacks imagination. Its narrative experience is immature and poorly executed. When it comes to good adventure titles, gamers are spoilt for choice. Deadfall Adventures is just spoilt.
There's a decent game buried somewhere underneath the muck, but the laziness of the port makes Dokuro on PC a game best avoided. If you really want to play it, the PS Vita and mobile versions are cheaper, and far superior.
If you enjoy twin-stick shooters like Geometry Wars, then maybe you can give this a try. It's definitely a competent game for the genre and will scratch that itch, if you've got it. For me though, the whole time I was playing I just kept thinking about how much better Geometry Wars was, and that I'd rather be playing an HD release of that instead.
The only thing being scared away by the Wayward Manor's ghost is this reviewer's patience.
If you want a next-gen basketball game, buy NBA 2K14 instead.
