Goliath Depot Reviews
Goliath Depot effectively pays tribute to early '80s arcade gameplay, and would've fit right in next to the machines that inspired it. Although aimed at classic gamers, modern features such as leaderboards, level randomizers, and a speedrun mode should help it appeal to a wider audience.
Goliath Depot is an arcade-style throwback that's as entertaining as it is retro so grab a chum and get closing those doors already.
Shutting a door or window not only leads to the goal, but also shoots out projectiles going left and right, which will temporarily stun enemies if they connect and players can kick them off the stage by simply running into them, but they can respawn. Each boss battle is different from the other, offering more variety and adding to the challenge.
Goliath Depot will remind you of one of those arcades from the mid-80s that were successful in arcades. It's incredible how such a simple game, both graphically and playable, can be so entertaining.

I really liked Goliath Depot. Although it’s a unique idea, it feels like it would be worthy of its very own oversized cabinet. It’s pick-up-and-play arcade goodness that’s appealing to retro fans and even those dipping into the genre for the first time. Ideal for the busy gamer with only a short amount of gaming time to spare. There are also plenty of reasons to play, whether it’s to unlock new abilities, attempt a high score or even enjoy the experience with a friend. It falls slightly short of not allowing the player to customize difficulty. But if you’re just looking to revisit the arcade days but with something different, then be sure to check out Goliath Depot.
