Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends Reviews
Like I said, I watched in awe as my wife absconded with my Steam Deck and steamrolled Rolling Hills like it was the most delicious plate of sushi the world has known. But then the feeding frenzy was over, and it was almost like it hadn’t happened afterwards. There’s magic in Rolling Hills for sure. But it’s a very fleeting magic, and a little more sauce would have made it a much more impactful source of wonder. It was definitely cute, though!
Whether you are looking for a game without many complications, to have a relaxed and fun time, or if you are looking to increase your achievement counter, Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends is a game that you should definitely give a try, and taking into account that we can find it available through Game Pass, We have no excuse not to.

Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends is a game that shouldn't be rushed to be completed. It's a game that allows you to live vicariously as a wannabe chef in a small town with big dreams. However, the game has the potential to do more and the lack of gameplay features is proof of this. Regardless, it's a fun restaurant simulator with a story to tell, which allows it to stand out from other restaurant sims like Diner Dash and Overcooked. So if you want to learn more about this small town, as well as serve up some fresh sushi, then grab that controller and put on that apron, you have a restaurant to open!
Casting players as Sushi-bot, your goal in Rolling Hills: Make Sushi Make Friends is to run the best sushi restaurant you possibly can. This is a thoroughly cosy and relaxing sim where stresses are kept to a minimum — and while it may be simple, we've enjoyed every moment we've spent with it.
Of course, this all relies on you enjoying the repetitive loop that Rolling Hills offers, and if you don't... well, you're not going to stick with it. That's the downside here - it's a game that some people will bounce off very quickly, especially considering it's very easy in the first few hours. However, if you become as enticed by it as we have, you'll be in for a great experience with Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends on Xbox Game Pass.
Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends is as satisfying as great sushi. You'll have fun running a restaurant and making friends at a nice pace with very little to stop you.
Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends is a delightful experience that’ll keep players hooked in with its simple yet satisfying gameplay loop. It’s always a lot of fun to run your restaurant and serve your customers, whilst customising its look, unlocking new goodies, or simply interacting with your fellow townsfolk all adds to the charm. Sure, it can be guilty of being a bit too simple in places, but with a satisfying sense of progress that makes it perfect for quick sessions here and there, Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends manages to stand out as a cozy life-sim treat.
