We now know when Marvel's Avengers' next War Table presentation will drop.
On Twitter, it was announced that Marvel's Avengers' next War Table presentation will drop in a few weeks. The event will take place on February 16th. The presentation will be a Deep Dive into the game's next DLC character, Hawkeye, and will show his Operation, entitled Future Imperfect. Like the previous Deep Dive, this event will posted rather than streamed. There was no telling what specific time the Deep Dive will drop. The War Table event will also take a look at the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game.
Marvel's Avengers' first DLC character, Kate Bishop, was released at the beginning of last month. Kate's playstyle ensures that players will never stay in one spot for too long. Her Blink Skills allow her to double jump, air dash, and traverse ledges through short-range teleportation. She can also parry enemies with her Quantum Shift ability, which has her teleport away from an enemy and return from behind to attack them. Kate is a master archer, and has a number of Skills that utilize her bow. She can use different types of arrows, including Explosive Arrows, which stagger enemies and break their defenses. Kate's Support Heroic is Decoy, which has her spawn a holographic replica of herself that shoots of arrows of quantum energy in order to distract enemies.
The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Marvel's Avengers were delayed until this year last October. The delay was made to ensure that the title's development team would have time to deliver a next-gen showcase worthy of the consoles. The games can still be played on the new consoles through backwards compatibility, and will have improved framerates and faster loading times. There will be cross-generation co-op, as well as the ability to transfer saves from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game over to the next-gen versions of the title.
Marvel's Avengers is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. The game will soon come to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
