MLB The Show 21 is coming to Xbox Game Pass.
On the Xbox Wire, it was announced that MLB The Show 21 will be available on Xbox Game Pass the same day that it releases later this month. The game will be available on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, as well as Android phones and tablets via Xbox Cloud Gaming for Game Pass Ultimate members. MLB The Show 21 will feature cross-platform play and progress, allowing all Xbox gamers play with each other no matter what generation they play on.
MLB The Show 21 will have a number of next-gen features on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The games will play at 60 fps. There will be new Intro Presentations, as well as more detailed Stadiums and Environments. On the PlayStation 5, The Show 21 will make use of the system's 3D audio, as well as haptic feedback. Across all platforms there will be new Franchise and MTO tools, and a new player onboarding experience. There will also be new gameplay styles, which will let gamers customize their experience from casual fun to competitive intensity.
In other Game Pass news, Microsoft recently added 16 Xbox classics to Xbox Cloud Gaming. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members now have access to these 16 games through their Android devices. Games include Banjo-Kazooie, Fable II, Gears of War 3, and Viva Piñata. A few of the games were also given touch controls so gamers would not need to connect a gamepad to their device in order to play. Since the games are connected through the Xbox network, gamers will be able to bring up their past saves and play with others all over the world. You can see a list of all 16 games here.
MLB The Show 21 will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on April 20th.
