16 Xbox classics are now available for Xbox Game Pass members to play through the cloud.

On the Xbox Wire, it was announced that Xbox Game Pass members will now have access to 16 Xbox and Xbox 360 classics through the service's cloud gaming portion. Through the cloud, gamers will be able to play the 16 games on their Android devices, with a few of the games receiving touch controls that will make it so players do not have to connect a gamepad to their mobile device in order to play. With games connected through the Xbox network, players will be able to bring up past saves and play along with gamers all over the world. The 16 games that are now available through the cloud can be seen below:

  • Banjo-Kazooie
  • Banjo-Tooie
  • Double Dragon Neon
  • Fable II
  • Fallout: New Vegas
  • Gears of War 2
  • Gears of War 3
  • Gears of War: Judgment
  • Jetpac Refuelled (touch controls enabled)
  • Kameo
  • Perfect Dark
  • Perfect Dark Zero
  • The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
  • Viva Piñata (touch controls enabled)
  • Viva Piñata TIP (touch controls enabled)

"Today we're embarking on a new journey for the backward compatibility program: Taking it to the cloud," stated Will Tuttle, Xbox Wire Editor in Chief. "Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now tap into a collection of favorites from the past in a whole new way - right on mobile devices, turning them into retro handheld game systems... We've listened to the feedback, going all the way back to our earliest cloud gaming preview, and making games from previous generations available on mobile devices has been one of the most requested features by the community."

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is available now for $14.99. The service grants players access to a sizeable library of games, as well as all of the benefits of Xbox live Gold.

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I am a huge fan of JRPGs, though I also enjoy fighters. I have been writing about video games for a few years now. If it has a great story, I am sure that I will dig it.
