9 / 10.0 - Animal Well
May 13, 2024

Animal Well is a unique experience that will appeal to lovers of platformers with metroidvania elements as well as those who appreciate creative puzzles and mysterious atmospheres. The fascinating visual style, combined with a very solid game system that is easy to learn and difficult to master, make it a must-have title for those looking for an original, fun and highly replayable journey.

8 / 10.0 - MotoGP 24
May 2, 2024

This new incarnation of MotoGP is in great shape at the annual appointment with fans. The neural aid system appears to be very scalable and effective, the campaign is substantial and highly customizable, and even the technical sector has taken some perceptible, although not overwhelming, steps forward. If you want to get closer to the world championship or simply are looking for a highly simulative title dedicated to the world of two wheels, MotoGP 24 is an excellent entry point.

8 / 10.0 - Indika
May 1, 2024

There are few games that have dared to tackle religious themes with such sensitivity, and Indika is certainly one of them. It is a peculiar title that may struggle to be known to the general public, but we believe that those who are lucky enough to try it will keep a good memory of it. For better or for worse.

7.5 / 10.0 - SaGa Emerald Beyond
Apr 25, 2024

SaGa is a niche series and Emerald Beyond does nothing to prove otherwise: the combat system deepens those JRPG mechanics that had already emerged in previous chapters and that are consolidated here, thanks to a strategic component that makes the clashes more fascinating.

7.5 / 10.0 - Stellar Blade
Apr 24, 2024

Since the action RPG borrows several mechanics from games belonging to very different genres, the risk that Stellar Blade would turn out to be a soulless "map" was very high. Paradoxically, however, the aspect of the product that more than any other has been able to convince us is to be found precisely in its solid combat system, which even without reinventing the wheel has given us great satisfaction.

7 / 10.0 - Sand Land
Apr 24, 2024

Sand Land is therefore a tie-in that is not fully successful on the playful and content front, but it is a videogame adaptation that expresses a lot of affection towards the work from which it is taken.

"To JRPG lovers" is the first sentence we read when starting Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes, testifying to the intentions that moved the developers of Rabbit & Bear Studios Inc.. In fact, the game is an impeccable collection of quotes, cues, mechanics and plots dating back to various sacred monsters of the genre, moreover staged with a curated artistic direction and really "in love" with its sources of inspiration.

The mechanics and interface of Headquarters: World War II are reminiscent of old wargames from the 2000s, such as Battle Academy, while the visual spectacle and wide environmental destructibility are reminiscent of contemporary RTS approaches. This combination ensures an addictive gaming experience that is perfect for lovers of historical strategy games. Both on the technical and playful front there are some edges, yet the formula of Starni Games is able to satisfy those looking for a challenge set during the Second World War.

8.2 / 10.0 - Harold Halibut
Apr 15, 2024

With a development that lasted twelve years, it is legitimate to wonder if Harold Halibut is a fully successful operation: what we can tell you is that the work of the German studio has convinced us, thanks to a mature and engaging narrative capable of dealing with themes that are anything but obvious.

South Park Snow Day tries to change the genre of reference of the franchise once again by moving towards the rogue-like: the cyclical setting, however, is sunk by an underlying repetitiveness and runs with little content and a battle system that is too confusing.

7.2 / 10.0 - Rise of the Ronin
Mar 21, 2024

Rise of the Ronin is undoubtedly the most ambitious of the titles developed by Team Ninja to date, as well as the riskiest. This is because the vision shaped by the studio has led it to face unprecedented challenges in terms of design and technical implementation, deriving from the choice to opt for an open world that frames a more articulated narrative structure than that of the previous productions of the Japanese collective.
