For fans of stories revolving around occult, urban legends and supernatural experiences, Other Side Of Mist And Mountain offers approximately 10 hours of immersive gameplay without appealing to cheap jumpscares and mixing visual novel, exploration, stealth and puzzles. With an excellent audiovisual presentation, especially the soundtrack, we have a title that definitely deserves to shine. However, various bugs and text issues weigh against the experience, making it necessary to have patience to understand what's being told in the story at certain points and to solve the puzzles along the way.

Though a rerelease can be a good opportunity for old games to come back, Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The princess from another world isn't one of the best examples. It may even have some positive points, like the visuals and emulation resources, but the original game is so limited that the novelties aren't enough. I recommend it to the fans of the franchise and/or platformers, as well as trophy hunters.

Read Only Memories: Neurodiver is an adventure game with a fascinating world. With good characters and a phenomenal work on its audiovisual aspects, it's a comfortable experience. Unfortunately, when it comes to the plot and main systems, the general feeling is that the game should have dived deeper to actually have the chance to stay on the collective memories as a big classic of its genre.

9 / 10.0 - MULLET MADJACK
May 14, 2024

Mullet MadJack is an immersive and electrifying gaming experience, providing a unique blend of frenetic action, nostalgic atmosphere and strategic challenge. With stunning art direction that evokes 1990s anime and a phenomenal soundtrack, the game immerses players in a captivating universe from the first moment. It's Brazil showing the quality of national talent within the global independent games scene.

Despite the presence of various charismatic characters and the series' usual humor, Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution doesn't stand out as a memorable action RPG due to a monotonous and extremely unbalanced combat system. For the hardcore fans of the franchise, there are many familiar aspects that may offer some fun; however, for those looking for a solid experience in the genre, there are many options easier to recommend.

7 / 10.0 - Rainbow Cotton
May 14, 2024

Finally having Rainbow Cotton with us gives us a panorama (unintended pun) of the candy-hungry witch's virtual evolution. However, even though the game by itself is fine, it deserved more than a graphic upgrade, gameplay refinements and extra resources to make it totally modern instead of a mere revamped port.

8 / 10.0 - Robobeat
May 13, 2024

Robobeat offers an experience in which the harmony between action and music dictates the rhythm of the challenge. With mechanics that synchronize the player's actions with the rhythm of the chosen music, the game provides a journey full of adrenaline and fun. Additionally, the ability to import your own music adds a layer of customization and immersion to the experience, allowing players to shape their experience according to their musical tastes.

8 / 10.0 - V Rising
May 11, 2024

V Rising stands out in the ocean of current survival games, offering a pleasant adventure with the potential to entertain fans of vampire themes and action mechanics for hours on end. Although the experience is undoubtedly better when accompanied, once you are “bitten” by this title, it is difficult not to let yourself be contaminated (in a good way).

Offering a refreshing take on the classic character, PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle Chomp Champs is a fun game with just the right amount of competitiveness. Unfortunately, its potential is undermined by poor online performance, in addition to little attention directed to production and content. Still, we have a solid battle royale with some potential to become interesting beyond fans of the classic franchise.

8 / 10.0 - GZLNA
May 9, 2024

GZLNA is an action game that surprised me with its high dose of style and boldness. It's an easy recommendation for those looking for an unusual experience in a market saturated with titles that lack inspiration.

Tales from Candleforth is a slightly morbid and short point-and-click, good enough for me to wish that the plural of the title would come true and take the form of a collection of small stories that combine their strengths into a larger work. For now, Sarah's tale pleases, the puzzles mess with our logical associations and the art skillfully combines amazement, enchantment and surrealism, compensating for the feeling that the experience ends prematurely.

Front Mission 2 Remake offers the turn-based strategy fans a unique opportunity to revisit or even have the first contact with a 90's cult classic full of deep mechanics and a compelling plot. Though it keeps the original game's essence, the remake presents significant upgrades when it comes to visuals, sound and performance, offering a more immersive and accessible experience to contemporary players. However, some creative and design choices, such as the excessive faithfulness to the original material and the lack of updates to the user interface, may affect the game experience and frustrate players looking for convenience and practicality, especially newcomers already used to newer experiences in the strategy genre. Even so, it's good to have this important title back in our lives.

7.5 / 10.0 - Top Spin 2K25
May 7, 2024

It took more than a decade for the franchise to come back, and TopSpin 2K25 may be a good start, but it's still far from the ideal. While the list of players and locations doesn't disappoint, and is accompanied by a clear and straightforward gameplay, the underexplored content and even the DLC seasons show that there's room for improvement and, thus, its return to the rankings top and the players' hearts.

8 / 10.0 - Heading Out
May 7, 2024

Heading Out is a very interesting title, with a unique premise of mixing narrative elements and a racing game in a roguelite structure with very stylish black and white graphics and a soundtrack integrated to the action. The adventure features a simple plot but it's really intriguing and is shaped by the player choices. The excellent ambiance of running away through the roads is complemented by a beautiful and fun racing mode that only slips up for the little skill of the virtual opponents.

Sincerely speaking, Hatsune Miku - The Planet Of Wonder And Fragments Of Wishes would have everything it takes to be a strong recommendation for fans of minigames and Vocaloids, were it not for the absurd price for this collection. This charismatic title can please a vast range of people, especially those who love relatively simple experiences with a focus on unlockable achievements, but, if not acquired during a sale, its content doesn't justify the price.

The Hungry Lamb: Traveling in the Late Ming Dynasty is a curious, unsettling and compelling journey that explores an issue that, unfortunately, won't stop existing in our world. Even with a few caveats, this is a title worth checking out.

Unfortunately, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants offers an experience far below expectations for a Ninja Turtles beat 'em up. The visual identity based on a more “recent” animation, even though there are already newer ones at the moment, could have been a great element, but the bland and uninteresting set ended up affecting what could be another great group game.

Thrones of Decay fulfills its role of bringing significant content to some of the most beloved factions of Total War: WARHAMMER III with flying colors. It doesn't matter if you're a fan of aggressive conquests or an enthusiast of the art of ranged combat: there's something here for virtually every play style in a title that, years after its debut, continues to impress with its epicness and quality.

7.5 / 10.0 - Lunar Lander Beyond
Apr 26, 2024

For those who were used to the Recharged templates that Atari's classics had been using in recent years, Lunar Lander Beyond came with a new and very good proposal, revitalizing an icon in gaming history. However, the game focuses too much on a story mode, leaving the arcade roots of its original source a little aside.

8 / 10.0 - Sand Land
Apr 25, 2024

Sand Land manages to do one of the most difficult things in this heated and boring cultural industry of our time: it is able to justify its own existence (alongside an anime that tells the same story, but not quite like that), which sometimes it may seem meaningless if we only look at the surface of the proposal. Despite some relatively silly technical mishaps that are more annoying due to the supposed ease of identifying them, Beelzebub's adventure has a craftsmanship that exudes a lot of grace and charisma.
