64hoops Super Mario Bros. Wonder Review

A refreshing mario game that is more charm than depth. The new artstyle and redesigned soundtrack more than make up for the lack of challenge and disappointing abilities. The level design is definitely leaps and bounds better than previous games, as that's where the game design really shines. It doesn't redefine the 2D platforming genre, but it gives fans hope that the Super Mario Bros. franchise can evolve past the boring Wii and Wii U predecessors of the past.
