64hoops MULLET MADJACK Review

This game OOZES style, such a cool experience. I don't think there's an experience out there like this. Even though it's not a long experience (I beat the story in two hours on Challenge Mode), it feels like an anime movie that's well paced and doesn't waste your time. On the surface, it's a 90s futuristic action story. But, getting into the meat and potatoes is an evangelion-esque story that questions your character's humanity. Gameplay is fast, fun, and really gives you motivation for replay if you're into that sort of thing. Only thing I didn't really like is when you die, you would restart with the old crappy starter weapon (Until you unlock some endless perks that help with that). But this can feel frustrating especially when you're later in the chapters when "bleep" hits the fan. The other thing is I thought a couple of the boss battles could've been designed better, and a bit more creativity in how you defeat them than "Strafe and shoot". Overall, this really has something for everyone (Speedrunners, cyberpunk fans, fps fans), and I really think this fell under the radar with the mainstream crowd.
