64hoops Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Review

I feel like this remaster fell WAY under the radar. I didn’t even know this existed until about a month ago! I feel like they struck a nice balance of keeping true to the original and also making this still a beginner entry to the series for newcomers. I think this game needed more of a full rework with its controls, combat mechanics, and mission design, but I can’t say that I didn’t have a good time playing it. You’re mass murdering zombies, it’s pretty hard to mess that concept up. $50 does seem kinda steep for something like this. But it’s a perfect game to grab for 20-$30. Would love to see a remake of DR2. That was my bread and butter growing up.
