Is Leon the GOAT of Video Game characters?? After this, you can make a case for it. While I think 4’s gameplay exceeds Requiem’s Leon moments, it pairs super well with Graces gameplay moments when you need a break from all the sneaking around and jump scares. Speaking of Grace….. she’s…… ehh? I think I need another game starring her to enjoy her. The second half of the game does some disservice to her character. But I think the underground bunker levels is scarier than any Resident evil game I’ve played so far. It’s pure horror at its best and I loved it. Graphics are impeccable. This RE Engine is pure bliss, probably my favorite part of the Resident Evil games nowadays. Even though the story is a bit too wacky and far fetched for my liking, it doesn’t detract from the main experience too much. Hence this is definitely my favorite non remake Resident Evil game.
