AlphaGriffin Red Dead Redemption 2 Review

The story is not as profound as many people think. You already know the eventual ending if you played the first game. The shooting combat is hollow, exploration is fun. The story is completely on rails and you have limited choice. You have to suffer Micah despite him being the most obvious traitor. You have to listen to Dutch say "I've gotta plan many times and they all suck." Most the characters that are likable are killed early in the story. Story is a slog when you don't like most the characters and have no agency to significantly alter the fate of the gang.
