ArcTray Urban Myth Dissolution Center Review

Starting with, do I recommend this game, absolutely, not only does it have some gorgeous pixel art, the characters are likable and the mystery wraps up in an interesting way. If a had to compare it with a similar series like Ace Attorney, I would put it as on the middle tier, think AA4 Apollo Justice. This is through and through a mystery story, and while originally though it would involve puzzles and constant deductions, in reality is mostly on rails, basically a visual novel, there's some deductions to make, but they are usually simple and you can trial and error your way through. The sociatal aspect of the cases is both it's most interesting aspect and the cause of some pains, while integrating the social network on all episodes centers the main theme of the game, it does mean it can get very repetitive at times, thankfully, the dynamic between Azami and Jasmine is always fun and reduces the tedium. I would say the middle cases are not as strong as the first and the latter, but they are passable, the last case is amazing in my opinion, truly an Ace Attorney like experience. In the end, if you decide to stick for the ride, I think you'll walk out satisfied.
