Asobi Resident Evil Requiem Review

While fun in a lot of areas, I don't think RE9 will have as much of a staying-power as the other games in recent years have. There's a lot of things that have been done better in previous games, be it Leon's combat against enemies who barely react to your shots and many more lackluster iterations on previous game's mechanics. Leaving me with a similar mixed feeling on the game as something like RE3 Remake did and even then, I immediately felt compelled to replay RE3 Remake, Requiem did not get out that side of me, sadly.
