BenGaming Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Review
Oct 13, 2025
Sonic Racing Crossworlds is definitely one of Sega's better games in recent years and is a pretty decent palate cleanser after slogging through Sonic Frontiers. However, this game is retailing for 70 dollars at least, and 90 if you want the DLC. Truth be told, this game is extremely overpriced. It has neither the polish, vibrance, nor controls to justify this price. The pre-race banter between characters is neat.....for the first few times. Eventually, you'll find yourself skipping it because you just want to get in the race. My criticism goes further with the fact that there is little to do in single player, especially in comparison to other Kart racers, and that the DLC characters don't have voicelines at all. Not even the ones that SEGA owns. This game feels like an unfinished cash grab, powered by a hype train that's already derailing.
