Biel2u Hollow Knight Review

I tried to get into it for the second time. The only thing that drew me in was all the praise on the internet. The levels are terribly boring, drawn-out and repetitive. The combat is dull and the bench system, kind of like the bonfires from Dark Souls is badly designed. Fast travel almost doesn’t exist, so you have to keep running through those poor, boring levels all the time. The only plus is the music. I wanted to give 2D metroidvanias a chance, but after this I’ll never do it again.
