Bitek75 Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Review

What a great game ! I got hooked on Intergrade, so I was looking forward to Rebirth. And honestly, it’s more of what I liked about its predecessor just much bigger and expanded into an open world format. There’s a ton of stuff to do, so I really can’t complain. I don’t understand all the fuss about the open world format. A common criticism seems to be that the game is too long. But I do not understand that complaint. Some people just can’t be pleased games are either too short, so you should wait for a heavy discount, or they are too long... I mean, if you’re enjoying a game, isn’t being able to spend more time with it a good thing? And besides, the side content is completely optional. You don’t have to do every side quest, activity, or collectible. If you just want to experience the main story, follow the main quests and you’re good to go. I'm only about 15 hours in, so obviously I can't comment much on the overall story or how the game develops later on. From what I've played so far, though, it has been exactly what I was hoping for after Intergrade. The combat feels very familiar, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If you liked the combat in Intergrade, you already know what you're getting here. The bigger change is really the scale of the game and how much more there is to explore and do. The open world has plenty of optional activities and things to discover as you travel around. Some of it is definitely there for people who enjoy taking their time and exploring, while you can largely ignore it if you just want to stick to the main story. Personally, I like having that choice. The graphics are great, the cutscenes are fantastic, and the whole thing feels very polished. It has the same high level of quality as Intergrade, but with practically everything expanded more exploration, more activities, and much more to discover throughout the world. If you liked Intergrade, I don't see why you wouldn't enjoy Rebirth. At least from the 15 hours I've played so far, it feels like the same experience taken to a much larger scale. Also, lets not forget that unlike Intergrade , you can play as Red XIII in Rebirth ! Finally I like that there is option to transfer experience from Intergrade, so you can start from zero or like me start Rebirth with all experience gained in the previous game. I think this is great to be rewarded for buying and playing Remake and preserves feeling of continuity from previous game. One more thing for PC players with an NVIDIA 50-series GPU. Download RHI and install neural rendering mod. the game looks so good with it
