Brutus Dragon Age: The Veilguard Review

Feb 26, 2025
Playing the game a had a strong feeling that nobody of the team from previous parts could do what was done in this game. I don't feel any connection to previous parts. The characters changed so hard it is really hard to recognize them. What happened to Varric (his hair changed color) to Morrigan - her face changed it's shape! Lase got plastics too. Why? Open world (kind of) transformed to dull corridors! And overall levels became so unreal (in a bad way) and so stupid like it's a game of 2000's. Color palete of the game feels like u are playing Mario! It's cartoonish! U don't feel playing dramatic fantasy game but rather funny easy going sitcom. All the talks are so modern that I feel like in any moment someone will grab his phone and start chating or making selfies. The atmosphere of Dragon Age universe is ruined. And the main problem. This not an RPG anymore. U r like choosing the same answers but in a different words. They all r the same. But I have to say there r good even great moments in this game. It's HAIR! It's fantastic. So smooth and physic-reacting and the colors are great. Really liked it. After 30 hours I stopped and unistalled the game. This is a dawn of Dragon Age universe.
