Bullz_i Fortnite: Battle Royale Review

Feb 4, 2026
After the SBMM update, the game has become borderline unplayable. You can’t even enjoy playing with friends anymore if there’s a skill gap, because the matchmaking just locks onto the highest-skilled player and throws everyone into overly sweaty lobbies. That completely ruins the experience for casual and newer players who just want to have fun. Instead of balanced matches, you get nonstop try-hard games that feel more like tournaments than public lobbies. What’s worse is that it feels like the developers aren’t listening. These complaints have been repeated over and over, yet nothing meaningful has changed. The game direction feels stale, recycled, and low-effort lately. The newer items and weapons don’t feel exciting or creative, they feel gimmicky and forgettable, rather than fun additions to the sandbox. The lack of communication makes it seem like community feedback just doesn’t matter. If this keeps up, the casual player base is going to keep shrinking, because there’s no reason to stay when the game stops being fun. Right now, I honestly can’t recommend it.
