There's a difference between enjoying a Pokémon game because it's good, and enjoying a Pokémon game because it's POKEMON. and I don't know what you all are smoking, but it's CLEARLY the latter because half the positive reviews I see are "haha cry about it nana-nana booboo." You're not being funny, Nintendo isn't going to give you a discount or a coupon, Doug Bowser isn't going to come to your house and kiss your hand. You're just being annoying. You deserve better, you should DEMAND better. Stop putting up with actual garbage. It's fine to enjoy the game, but just know that there are BETTER Pokémon games, better FAN GAMES, better COMPETITORS. Don't get upset when we see a rotting pile of garbage and get offended because we're calling your garbage... GARBAGE. Go spend your money better, more wisely, PLEASE. Or don't, I don't care anymore, it's your 2005 simulator and 70 bucks wasted on your console, not mine. I give up putting up decent arguments only to get told "actually i enjoyed it so nuh-uh." Glad you enjoyed it, you can still enjoy it and realize it SUCKS.

Video games are subjective, you can not prove a game to be good or bad. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Yes you may be able to point out flaws and say "This is why this thing is objectively bad," but then someone can say "I don't let that flaw get in the way of my enjoyment." Because of this it no longer is objective and now because subjective. You said you give up having decent arguments, but your whole "review" makes it clear you don't know who to argue. The whole premise of your argument is "It is fine if you like this, but you have to admit it is bad." That is where your whole argument falls apart. If someone likes something they probably think it is good. Why would someone say "This thing I believe is good is bad, but I will keep enjoying it." It doesn't make sense, you have to accept that something you find bad will be liked by someone. I understand why you are upset you think the recent Pokemon games haven't been good and you want better but the majority still think they are fun, but like you said there are better Pokemon games, better fan games, better competitors that you can go to instead of modern Pokemon Also I didn't know where to put this but at the beginning you said half positive reviews are "haha cry about it." I have looked through a bunch of reviews the past week when on the toilet and a majority of the positive reviews are "Yeah there's flaws but they don't impact my fun." If anything nine out of ten negative reviews are people who haven't played the game, people like who you are not even talking about the game but the people who are minding their own business, and people going as you put it "haha cry about it nana-nana booboo." And you gotta love the incomplete thought of "2005 simulator."
