Crimson Desert is, for me, a true masterpiece. Despite a slightly rough start, it quickly reveals a unique charm and impresses with its world, strong gameplay, and incredible level of freedom. It brought back a feeling I hadn’t experienced in over a decade: that childlike sense of wonder where you completely forget about everyday life. The story can be a bit messy at times, but it clearly takes a backseat to the overall experience. For me, Crimson Desert stands among the greatest games of all time — and from now on, every open-world RPG has to measure itself against it.” Score: 9.5/10
