ColoradoCrumble Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Review
Sep 20, 2026
While the overall narrative and lore are very engaging, there are a lot of conversations that feel like bloat, just to be there to pad the runtime. When you walk up to random townsfolk, many of them say similar sentiments to other citizens, just in a slightly different manner. Occasionally, one of them will say something new and very intriguing, so skipping over them would have you miss out on cool world building. This is the only issue that I have with the game, everything else is stellar. The combat mechanics and graphics are awesome, and the lore is gripping. I hate spending $80 on video games, and I usually try and wait for a sale/buy used copies, but this game is worth the price tag. This is one of the first Switch 2 exclusives that is a true system seller, for those who enjoy RPG’s. If you’re thinking about buying the console, I highly recommend buying this game, as well as Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokemon Pokopia.
