The Ninja Gaiden Master Collection offers solid performance updates for some of the best hack-and-slash titles of the ps3 era, inlcuding some of their dlcs but doesn't fix all of their problems, which are mostly present in the camera controls of Ninja Gaiden 3. The changes are minimalistic for a remastered collection and there was a lot of potential in it but it is still the best way to experience the world of Ninja Gaiden for newcomers.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a technical masterpiece, which finally uses all of the possibilities that the PS5 has to offer. Even when the story, sidequests and mini-games play out a bit too familiar, the game still offers a lot of fun and gameplay variety, that will keep oldschool fans and newcomers entertained alike, even after reaching New Game+

Returnal is by far the most interesting game this year and offers everything that we are used to from Housemarque, in a level of quality and scope that I didn't thought was possible for this studio. A lot of excitement is lost due to random collectibles later in the game and not all of the roguelike elements fully come together in the end as intended. Still, no PS5 owner should miss out on Returnal.

Little Nightmares 2 surprises with an incredibly fascinating Story and some fitting grotesque locations that add to it. The new Gameplay elements doesn't really bring the expected additional game depth but besides that we really recommend this game for horror fans.

The Medium falls short of expectations and repeats a lot of mistakes from the previous bloober team games. From a technical standpoint the game is impressive, besides some minor lighting issues but nearly everything else disappoints just too much.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin picks you up pretty good at the beginning with some great characters, a bit of charme and a thoughtful rice cultivation simulation. It sadly it loses a lot of it with repetitive gameplay design and action-rpg elements which make a lot of the tasks a bit tedious.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition delivers what it has to but nothing more. Retro- and Comic-Fans will still have a lot of fun after all this time but for everyone else the expierence got a bit outdated over the years.

Godfall is the most monotonous title we've played in the last years. The short playtime, the missing replayability and no real effort to make the player care for the story and world are making Godfall the worst PS5 Launch Game.

Haven isn't the big RPG revolution but definitely one of the most beautiful games of the year. If you are looking for an emotional title for in-between with an amazing soundtrack to relax or some co-op fun with your partner, you will still get a great experience.

The Pathless is surely the most ambitious project so far from Giant Squid and delivers thrilling gameplay elements that shine especially during boss fights. The often empty worlds and repetitive tasks are a bit of letdown but this game should still not be missing in everyones PS5 Library

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War offers on of the best campaigns in years and extends the zombie mode in the right areas. Even if the campaign is extremly short and the new multiplayer modes don't really hit the spot, Call of Duty Fans will get the usual whole package and can hope for free Updates in the future.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the ideal launch title for kids or local co-op rounds with your kids and friends. Also the Soundtrack and the precise controls are amazing, even if the game often lacks some creativity and the story ended up to be pretty generic.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is not quite a Spider-Man 2 but it comes pretty close. If you can live with a lot of similar tasks, enemies and easy to see through story twists you'll get here a well made Adventure in the Spider-Man Universe that gives a great inside on the man behind the mask and his struggles.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time does more than enough to satisfy oldschool fans of the series but doesn't quite put the series into a moden era of gaming. Overloading effects, missing gameplay variety with the new characters/elements and a big focus on nostalgia holds the game a bit back. Crash Bandicoot will still have a lot of fun with it.

The big step forward remains missing but Fans of FIFA Ultimate Team will find a lot to love in this game. If you have waited for relevant new gameplay features, in Volta or the carreer mode, you should stick with the last two games.

Nintendo earns a plus point for creativity with Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit but the technical and gameplay limitations are shown a lot sooner than expected. If you have a extensive amount of free space in your apartment and good wifi you'll get some fun hours out of this innovative package.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars offers one of the best collection of Super Mario Games ever made, even if the upgrades and presentation of the whole collection could have deserved a lot more love for details. If you wanna experience Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxy in its best form yet, you should definitely get this.

Captain Tsubasa Rise of New Champions leaves little to be desired for fans of the anime and offers a solid presentation and gameplay for an anime game adaption. Sometimes you'll miss that final touch on some elements in the game and menu and also a lot unprecise actions can leave you behind frustrated but those moments are pretty rare.

Project Cars 3 turns its back a bit on the sim community but manages to finally give new players access to the game with great gamepad handling and a rewarding and varied career mode. In terms of graphics there isn't much improvements to see to Project Cars 2 and also a lot of bugs and framerate troubles keep the console version a bit back. If you are looking for a game to pass the time till the next Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport you'll still have a lot of fun with Project Cars 3.

Ghost of Tsushima often loses itself in visual details and is missing endgame challenges but still offers enough gameplay variety and content to even get classic open world RPG Fans on board. For fans of the world of samurais and katanas this game is definitely the best one in years.
