Chris White's Reviews
It’s a stunning game, majestic in art design and fluid in combat. It’s difficult at times, but the rewards for getting to the next area far outweigh the frustrations.
I haven't played anything like this since Journey. It is a stunning game to explore and exist in, and the story is going to move a lot of people.
If you love games like Super Meat Boy, be prepared to be blown away by Alex Rose's frantic and challenging gem.
The best Far Cry yet, with well written characters, lots of freedom to play how you want, and a lot of fun to be had on your own or with a friend.
It's great to see this series on the PlayStation 4, and you'd be daft not to give it a go. Fantastic track design, a stunning soundtrack, and plenty of game modes makes this one of the best racers out there.
Not only is it one of the most beautiful games I've played in recent memory, but it has some new mechanics and ideas to keep you playing.
EA Tiburon has improved on last year, and Longshot is one of the finest additions to the series in a long time.
If you're looking for not only the greatest basketball game but the greatest sports game in existence, this is definitely it. A huge improvement on last year, let down only by its weak attempt at a story mode.
One of the most inventive games of the year, showing that time and patience can be behind a challenging, smart, and incredibly interesting game.
There's no question Housemarque once again gets its own brand of chaos spot on, and you're going to love what they've got in store for you this time.
I was really impressed with the first episode, and it feels like things are only just starting to warm up.
It's great to have some new content for Horizon, and this piece of DLC certainly does it justice.
Ys VIII is a fantastic new action RPG from Falcom that is great for getting into the excellent Ys franchise and one that has a ton of quality content and sublime combat.
Yakuza 6 is a fitting end to a great saga, with fantastic combat and lots to do outside the main story
Okami HD is still as wonderful as ever, and now it has 4K resolution. Grab yourself a Sake, close the curtains, and sink into one of the most immersive and beautiful games ever.
It's about as complete an experience as it can be, and MMA fans will love what EA has done with UFC 3.
What Ails you is a superb fourth episode, and gives us plenty of great set pieces and character progression as the series reaches its climax
Same Stitch concludes Telltale's second season brilliantly, and Joker is shown once again to be Batman's greatest foe, written beautifully by the guys at Telltale.
A fitting end to the trilogy, and fans of the series so far will not be disappointed with the new gameplay features or the excellent storytelling.
This may not be the brand new adventure we’re all waiting for, but it’s a nice stopgap for those wanting to scratch that itch.
