The bottom line about Mortal Kombat 1 is that it has a flowing story that's enjoyable in its own cinematic way. The spectacle takes off thanks to an incredible and flawless technical field, with graphics that are a joy to behold, but also a robust, tried and tested and updated gameplay. It breaks down in the "what to do after the story" section, Because if you're not competitive and experienced enough for the online part, it's hard to keep you going for long. There is always of course the traditional couch co-op where with friends fun is guaranteed. Mortal Kombat 1 may be the second reboot in the series, but it manages to renew rather than reinvent itself, without risking losing its bloody, super violent and fun fighting nature!

EA Sports FC 24 is not the sweeping change that most people would expect, and for me there shouldn't be that expectation anyway. After all, a recipe that works more or less, why change it? However, because this year's recipe in points does not work as it should, I expected it to be at least more polished at these points, especially because of the "new era" of the thing. That's not to say it's not the "FIFA" you loved with its incredibly realistic moments, adrenaline-pumping and those moments when you want to drop the controller and grab the blood pressure monitor. Despite all its faults, we all know that in 3-4 months we will be talking about a different FC 24 player, due to the feedback of the community.
