Battlefield 2042 follows a different path. Instead of evolving the traditional and beloved recipe of the series, this time it borrows elements from other franchises, such as Call of Duty and Rainbow Six Siege. Many players will like the result and others will surely be left disappointed. The only certain thing is that the title needed more development time for any of its virtues to shine, as there are important technical issues, problems with the overall balance and some strange design flaws that DICE will definitely have to fix in future updates.

Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas are admittedly masterpieces. Unfortunately, the remasters offered by The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition suffer from too many problems and do not give these diamonds the treatment they deserve.

Forza Horizon 5 manages to make a great experience... even better, taking us to a beautiful, exotic location that perfectly highlights all the virtues of the series. I highly recommend the game to everyone, even if you don't like racing games, just to admire its phenomenal graphics.

Age of Empires IV does not reinvent the wheel either for the series or for the strategy genre. However, it is truly a high-quality game, which has new additions and manages to keep the player's interest, with its four different campaigns and with a great variety of scenarios, objectives, and environments.

Far Cry 6 is once again a nice regular Far Cry. You know exactly what to expect before stepping foot in it. Although it never quite reaches the true potential of what Giancarlo Esposito's villain could have been. Therefore the franchise's struggle to reach the height of

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a fantastic adventure that keeps you with a smile on your face for about 10-13 hours. The well-written characters, the humor, the impressive integration of DualSense features, the amazing graphics and the solid gameplay are a package that is very easy for me to suggest.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is an extremely rich package (except for a small DLC pack and the multiplayer component of Mass Effect 3). Ignoring a few technical flaws, it successfully brings back one of the best gaming trilogies of all time, with many welcome technical and gameplay additions.

Outriders may feel like a game from another era, with some structural design flaws, but it managed to be plenty of fun. I would easily recommend it to those looking for a new co-op game to enjoy with their friends, as the gameplay is fast, addictive, challenging and rewarding, successfully combining elements of adored games such as Borderlands, Destiny and Gears. The main problem though is the technical problems that drag down the experience.

Hitman 3 does not reinvent the wheel, nor does it redefine the series. Instead, it tweaks and enriches the excellent gameplay of the previous two games of the World of Assassination trilogy, to offer a truly excelent experience.

Gears 5 Hivebusters is an impresive three-hour audiovisual tour de force that should have been there from day one on the Xbox Series X.

Ghostrunner is not a game for everyone. It's hard. It's very hard. It is based on gaming philosophy rooted in the Arcades of the 90s and 00s, with repetition, trial & error and the unmistakable execution of each move at its core. The gameplay systems have received such attention that they reach perfection and so when you get into its vibe, you really feel that you are a skillful Ninja who can do everything with his sword and parkour.

Dirt 5 is purely an arcade racer that knows exactly what it is aiming for. It does not let you wait long. It puts you directly behind the wheel, facing rain, snow, mud, ice, difficult turns, jumps and many more driving obstacles. It is neither the richest racing game out there in terms of content, nor the most realistic. Surely, however, it can offer eyepopping spectacle and plenty of fun.

Bright Memory is definitely an ambitious endeavor by a sole developer who wants to deliver high-octane action in an FPS-type Tomb Raider adventure that combines shooting and melee. The end result is unfortunately disappointing, with an exaggeration characterizing it throughout its range.

Gears Tactics is a really good strategy game, with unusually high production values for the genre. It has challenge, depth, action. It is a success, despite venturing in 'uncharted territory' for the series.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game that you do not see often. It is a milestone for the simulator genre and a worthy experience whether you are a veteran or a beginner. It is an unprecedented achievement.

Battletoads is surprisingly a worthwhile comeback. Extremely fun, challenging and with a wide variety of gameplay systems, it will keep you on the couch for about four to five hours. If you are looking for something to play co-op with up to two other friends, it is worth giving it a try, even if you find its aesthetic style unattractive.

Project CARS 3 blurs the line between simulation and arcade, leaning heavily towards the arcade side. While this 'identity crisis' may disappoint some hardcore fans, the whole experience remains fun.
