The Epic version doesn't work. Basically it is loaded with old bugs that in the Steam version has been solved. At first for Epic free game week, the game wouldn't even launch after authentication. To fix that the devs put out a bugged release where NPC get stuck in doorways. The Steam version has the newest version. It has been about 3 or 4 days since this and the devs have went radio silent and flat out act like this problem doesn't exist. It is a wide spread problem.
