Daniel A Plague Tale: Innocence Review
Oct 7, 2026
The gameplay and stealth sections of A Plague Tale: Innocence are bad, really bad, to the point that if I had known it would be like this, I would have preferred to just watch a play-through instead of playing it.
I liked the story, but the lack of facial expressions and time to develop bonds with the characters made it less emotional than what could have been for me.
Not gonna spoil because it's related to the plot, but chapter 16 has one of the worst gameplay sections of any game I've ever played.
Loved the concept of the rat plague and its mechanics/puzzles. I think It's where the game really shines.
