DaniilStar Genshin Impact Review
Apr 9, 2025
I'll start with the positive:
Open world, mechanics from the Zelda series, puzzles and visuals
And now everything I didn't like:
The main character is often distracted by secondary tasks, as if he/she doesn't care whether he/she finds a sister/brother or not.
Broken balance, gacha as a necessity
Exploring the open world is not interesting after 10 hours of play
Multiplayer not as an opportunity to go through the story together with others, but as a way to grind with someone (in this form it is not needed, with the exception of some events, but they are very rare)
The plot is secondary, it does not draw you in, monotonous and boring. Moments when you want to listen or read will be less than the desire to skip meaningless dialogues.
Huge locations, with each patch more and more, which are needed only for one-time visit, are essentially not needed
The game tries to add variety, but over time it disappears.
