Dash Exlee Blue Prince Review

So here's the thing. This game is legitimately special in my opinion. But there are some things to keep in mind. Number 1, this game won't be for everyone and that's ok. This is because it can be quite challenging at times. Also because luck is required at times as this has rougue-lite elements. But not liking it for that would be like not liking cards because luck is involved. Anyway the initial goal is to find the mysterious 46th room in what is supposed to be a 45 room mansion. If you manage to achieve this you are bequeathed a mansion by your great uncle. Gameplay takes place in and around this mansions estate. The mansion is laid out in a 9×5 grid. As you open each door you are given 3 drafts to choose that will determine each room. Each room does something unique and is color coded. So as you go room to room you find items to help you progress. There are also single room puzzles, story mysteries and larger estate puzzles. It's really amazing how it opens up both story and gameplay-wise as the game progresses. The important thing to keep in mind is that success can come in many ways. You will fail to reach the 46th room many times but that's ok because finding the solution to a puzzle is a success. Getting a previously unknown room is a success or finding more of the intriguing story clues. Finally unlocking shortcuts or permanent buffs like the shed are all fun successes despite not reaching the 46th room on a run. The game is still fun because it doles out these other things that are just as fun. And when you finally figure out a tough puzzle you-ll want to pump your fists. Over the years the way I know a game is great is when I think about it or have dreams about it when I'm not playing!! As a matter a fact what am I doing writing this! Lol! So if my caveats don't apply to you, I highly recommend this!
