DaveM12DIM Life is Strange: Double Exposure Review

Apr 27, 2025
While it's great to see Max back, honestly, she deserved better. The world looks amazing with a lot of detail, but is restricted to just three main locations (And two of those are basically one room each) and honestly, in 2024 with the power of the PS5, its fair to expect more. The story, while starts well enough, kinda falls apart towards the end, and they have never really found a way to replicate the dynamic between Max and Chloe in the first game. Honestly, its hard to recommend to anyone but the biggest LIS fans, and even then I would be tempted to wait for a sale. I had settled on 6/10 for the actual game, but honestly, Special mention has to go to Square Enix for locking two launch day trophies behind the Ultimate Edition or £15 upgrade. That would be one thing, but the DLC contains a grand total of FIVE MINUTES content. To consider that worthy of £15 or an "ultimate edition" is completely outrageous.
