david0ff Like a Dragon: Ishin! Review

I ve played most of the yakuza games before this. And I had the option between this and gaiden and i thought this is the full game. It was very praised when it came out and i like the old yakuzas so it must be good. But it doesnt feel like a remake in anyway more of just a patch. It is indeed made in a different engine but the gameplay is very outdated and the yakuza combat doesnt work for a samurai experience, making it feel very rigid. The bosses are boring especially to Yakuza standard, even the qte arent cool to look at, except the last boss. Mini games are tedious completing it is tedious. Ughh and story is just ok, very predictable cuz they re kinds the same characters
