STOP comparing this game with the older games. Doom: The Dark Ages is AMAZING! Replayed it 5-6 times already, on my 7th run now concurrently while watching my partner play her run as well (So 8?) Some hard-core DOOM fans will compare the game with the older games like Doom Eternal, BUT my advice is to remember that this is a new game with new mechanics, it is meant to be innovated and NOT a repeat copy of an older game. This stands JUST as amazing if not MORE. Put all feelings aside from the past and just... FOCUS on this game. It's a MASTERPIECE.
