When compared, GTA 4 thoroughly outshines GTA 5 in most respects. In GTA 4, the physics engine, NPC system and the feel of the weapons are all of a very high standard. You could say that the NPCs have been given a proper brain. When you shoot an NPC, rather than the classic pre-rendered animations, a physics-based system generates a real-time, self-generated animation depending on where they’re hit. In short, it’s an absolutely brilliant game; the only downside is that the colours in the game aren’t particularly vibrant.
