dferlencm Isonzo Review

May 25, 2026
Following on from Verdun and Tannenberg, Isonzo is a far more modern game. The concept of ‘war’—particularly warfare in rugged mountain terrain—has certainly been woven into the game. The sight of bullets flying through the air in the mountains, and the constant need to take cover whilst fighting on high-altitude maps in multiplayer lobbies, has been rendered far more effectively. Furthermore, as customisable elements such as unlocking weapons or levelling up are slightly more prominent, we place even greater emphasis on them. Those seeking a World War experience should definitely try Verdun and Tannenberg first, and then give this game a go.
