EulDave Assassin's Creed Shadows Review

As a fan of Assassin's Creed, AC Shadows is a disappointment! Japan is beautiful and the combat and infiltration systems are quite successful! On the other hand, the character writing is quite poor. Naoe and Yatsuke deserved better writing. Ubisoft Quebec could have made a real epic story, much more poignant with emotionally strong moments. But no, I found the character writing really bland, as were the secondary characters. And the revenge stories, we have to stop! It's really easy writing. As for the quests, they're all the same, hundreds of assassinations and none of them memorable! Hundreds of prayers and paper to collect in temples, castles with the same objectives! No! We really have to stop that! I hope that the next Assassin's Creed will have better writing with a great team of talented writers. And above all that each quest and side quest will be unique and will surprise the players! AC Shadows is unfortunately far too long and repetitive for a story that should have been epic but unfortunately is not!
