Fabibi Alan Wake 2 Review

Really not my type of game. As expected the gameplay is simplistic (very basic puzzles that requires no thinking - just press A when told to, serviceable combat, very limited exploration) but I've been let down by an incomprehensible story, bad dialogs, hit or miss voice acting (some are noticeably bad). The story being a bad mix of Twin Peaks and In the Mouth of Madness, with barely anything new or creative (except very pushed and annoying Finnish references), didn't help. Altogether the package makes no sense to me, gameplay and story don't work together, even though both are low quality. Oh and navigating/using the case board was a pain. Same for a simple action as opening the map and find out where you are. Some poor UX choices that add to the overall catastrophe. I was delighted when I finally reached the end credits. The game is "saved" by pretty nice graphics.
