FeelsBadRom Metaphor: ReFantazio Review

A pretty refreshing take on the classic Atlus RPG formula This game is extremely good and showcase that Atlus can really write games that isn't just for high schoolers with today social issues. This game is diverse with their topics and it touches pretty dark,complicated and uncomfortable developing worth situations like racism, equality, power dynamics on society,social scales, animal abuse and so much more. The narrative is somewhat predictable, but that doesn't take away from how well presented the story is. 5/5 I personally found this story far more interesting than most of Persona games since this one is more appealing to adults themes. Characters are interesting with real relatable motives for to support your protagonist storyline that turn into "We all go commons goals and we fight to create a chances". The no addiction of romantic routes helps to create a more flesh out character story arc make them far more interesting with endings to their story arc that are satisfying that aren't around the main character. It make them more believable and independent of the main goal. 5/5 The Artstyle is pretty good, but in some angles and occasion it look like "anime" games haven't evolved much with their graphics since the PS3. 3/5 Atlus always shine with their music and this is by no mean a exception. The OST and tunes are good, but i wouldn't go as far to say this OST is great. I got pretty strong themes, but others are too generic and lack something special. Isn't a complete package kind of OST like Persona 3 Reload, Persona 5 or Shin Megami Tensei games. They OST do the job, but is just ok compare to Atlus other works. 3/5 The refresh of the Atlus combat is done pretty good on this game with nice addition like formation, tensitis and the kinda "Active battle system" which add such a fascinating and fun twist to the combat. This game is tougher than other Atlus games, but that's in a good way. It forced you to plan your attack thoughtfully instead of mindless spam your more powerful attacks. It makes you manage your usage of mana. The pseduo action games another great addition that cut the grinding times for levels and materials. 5/5 4.5/5 A must play if you love RPG with a fascinating storytelling, with a dynamic and fun combat with pretty interesting characters with a diverse world to explore
