FLaNJeY What Remains of Edith Finch Review

"I want you to be amazed that any of us ever had a chance to be here at all". Poignant. Inspiring. Saudade. What Remains of Edith Finch is a brutally affecting tale, following the eponymous Finch family's bizarre, (almost comically) morose history. Each member's story exudes its own personality; uniquely delivered, artistically or mechanically. Its gorgeous painterly environments are somewhat uninteractive, and controls tend toward the imprecise. But my brief navigation of the eclectic Finch household and the melancholic mysteries of its residents left me deeply moved, endowed with its sanguine lesson.
