FMinus Dragon Age: The Veilguard Review
Nov 7, 2024
The gameplay can be salvaged and fun, but the writing and the story is just down right terrible, socio-political infused with mostly Anglospheric issues, that the rest of the world really does not care about.
So while it can be fun to play the game, use the very limited mechanic, even this becomes kind of stale, the enemies are limited, sponges, and it becomes very repetitive.
But the narrative, dialogues, stories, are sterile, little to no choice, story makes no sense, does not really connect from the previous games. Basically the game has no depth, sad to say for a Dragon Age game.
It looks pretty if you enjoy that kind of art style, it's fun for a few hours, but it becomes stale and preachy and dives straight down identity politics. Wait for discounts if you are willing to give it a chance.
