Although I'm not usually a fan of Souls games, the story here is truly exceptional and difficult to rival. You can quickly become addicted to the game, feeling as though you're truly living inside its world, and you won't want to stop despite its difficulty. You can clearly feel George R. R. Martin's influence on the game's lore and world-building, and you can also sense some of Tolkien's ideas and influence. The gameplay, world design, and exploration are all excellent, and the bosses are meticulously designed.
