Man of Medan is a game I really enjoyed. Overall, it is well made and delivers a solid experience within the interactive choice-based genre. One of its biggest strengths is the branching system, which gives real weight to the player’s decisions and greatly increases replay value. The story is good and fits well within the game’s premise, keeping the experience engaging throughout. The characters are also interesting and help with immersion. However, the game is not perfect. At times, the pacing feels a bit uneven, and some sections don’t have the same impact as others, which makes the experience slightly less consistent than it could have been. Still, this doesn’t take away too much from the overall enjoyment. In general, it is a very good game and I would definitely recommend it to fans of this type of interactive narrative.
