Metroid has finally returned with a 2D game after almost two decades. With various spin-offs and portable outings, everyone wondered when Samus would return to her roots. Dread is a very solid title in the franchise and great for speed running. The only thing that I personally take points off for is the music, it's not quite as good as it was with previous titles.

It's a very good, very polished game. The only problem is that Hollow Knight exists and that is undebatably the best metroidvania ever.
