Summed up very simply, what we love about Bethesda with slight updates. If it had focused on just one planetary system instead of hundreds, it would be a thousand times better. The loading screens between planets become tedious. The atmosphere is unique and captivating.
Disappointing, my biggest gripe is how bad the exploration is, there is no indication whether what you're exploring is procedurally generated or hand crafted. Also gunplay that stiff in 2023 should be illegal
Spent 35 hours on a loading screen simulator. Bethesda has no good will from me anymore. Super nervous about TES6

I know it's hard to believe but this game has no map, google it, it's unplayable.
If you just leave the idea of being in a space travel simulator, this is a really wonderful game with amazing story and really interesting tycoon and roll ideas

Bethesda still cannot write good stories, nor create any verisimilitude in their worlds.
The game has some great technical systems in place like ship customization and combat, decent gunplay, and semi-respectable outpost building. But there just isn't much exigency to any of it.

It's you against a galaxy where you can go anywhere and do pretty much anything. Bethesda's sandbox fun at its finest.
Starfield is a great game in my opinion. One of my favorite Bethesda main stories and side quests/faction quests, love the characters as well. I also experienced few bugs.
